VENDOR INFORMATION
A repeat of last months information is necessary in order to help keep rumors under control.. The implementing of the 180 day rule covering the length of time Vendor canopies may remain standing.. Does not apply to tents or canopies under 400 sq. feet .. However a vendor canopy that is closed for 10 consecutive days must be taken down immediately regardless of size…

Chamber Meetings
The Quartzsite Business Chamber Board of Directors is having its next meeting on December 15th 7:00 pm.

Our next General Membership Meeting will be Monday Dec. 22nd.. 7:00 pm. At SPLIT RAIL RV PARK in the Club house..it’s also a Christmas party so bring a small gift costing not over $5.00… Also there be a pot luck supper..Please call Carolyn Allen at 927-4017 and let her know what your going to bring so we don’t end up with 200lbs of mashed potatoes.. Plates, cup’s, utensils and beverages will be provided by the Business Chamber

Chili Cook Off update
The first annual Its Chili in Quartzsite A CASI sanctioned event sponsored by the Qz Business Chamber will be hosted at Rice Ranch thanks to the generosity of site owners CW & Doris Hamilton

SPECIAL MENTION
needs to be made regarding Councilman WALT AKIN who has not only been extremely generous to the Qz Business Chamber and it’s members by working on the chamber web site and putting together pages for members at no cost.. He has also been busy for the Town at large.. Not everyone knows that Councilman Akin's involvement at the Quartzsite Department of Public Works is unpaid. Councilman Akin is not compensated for his time or even his gas…His interest has unfailingly been for the good of Quartzsite…

The Qz Chamber has filed it’s first accountability statement with the town..
All funds were accounted for in compliance with new rules from town hall..

OCTOBER GENERAL MEETING
Sandy Mcallister motioned that the General Membership Meeting for January be canceled….Not surprisingly The motion failed for the lack of a second.

that was being passed around advertising a “preseason mixer” held on Wednesday 11-18-03 by the ‘quartzsite chamber’..The Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce and..The Blythe Chamber of Commerce did not participate .. Neither organization will lend it’s good name or reputation to any event that was not sanctioned by a vote of the their Boards of Directors
